2005 Oyster Date - A Good Deal?

Ran across this ad in Craigslist. I did a lookup on the original price and if the database I used was accurate, this watch retailed for $3800 in 2005.

Can anyone here confirm this? And if this is accurate, then is $3200 a reasonable asking price? Or considering todays market, does an even lower price make sense?

Lastly, are there any substantial differences between this 2005 model and the current model?

Considering it was $3800 new 9 years ago and they want $3200 9 years later that's high.
I can get one with box and papers for $2500 same year all day long.

I'd say a touch high. 16200's are commonly in the $2600 range if you're patient.
