Which one would you choose?
Now that I have acquired a BLNR, I am beginning to set my sights on my next watch. It will not be for a while (at least a couple of years) and I am okay with that, but for the time being, these are the two that I have my eye on:
Submariner 116610 LV Submariner 116613 LB I understand both are Submariners, however, they are two very differnt watches. Interested to hear fellow forum members opinions on which they would choose and the reasons why. For me, the LV's bezel and dial are absolutely stunning. The way it changes tone on the type of lighting is truly amazing. The brushed centre links is also great as this is a sport/professional watch, hides scratches better than polished links. The LB's dial is equally stunning, especially now that Rolex has changed it to the sunburst dial. The blue is captivating and you can just stare at it all day (did so for a while at the AD yesterday while my BLNR was getting sized). The LB's blue dial, bezel and TT bracelet is in my opinion, classic, iconic Rolex. Arguably on par with the TT Datejust on a Jubilee bracelet with the fluted bezel. Anyways, that is my two cents worth on these two watches. At mentioned above, it will be sometime before I purchase my next Rolex. In the meantime, would appreciate any comments you may have. Thanks for your time. |

Congrats on the BLNR! Why not try the 16610LV as an option?

After they put the sunburst on the TT that is the one for me. Also you have an SS watch.

Both beautiful, hard choice. I love LV, but I'm biased.

I will vote for the LB. I have the BLNR and I think if I got another professional Rolex it would have to be two-tone.

Can't argue that logic. I have two TT Datejusts, but no TT sport watches. The change to the LB dial really makes it difficult to decide.

Tough choice. I am bias, as I got the 50th LV and I like the green. It's the only Rolex you can get so much green.
I think on the reverse, thinking if I should get a BLNR or go something beyond Rolex, like AP... If it was a Rolex, definitely the BLNR for me... But that's off topic... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Very nice. Here's a picture of one on my wrist while I was at the AD yesterday. It almost changed my mind from getting the BLNR. Almost.

I pick LV.
To me, it is special and its dial is 'magical' that changes its color tone with different light intensity. |
