GMT vs. EXP II

Someone asked me for a comparison of the Ceramic GMT vs. the new EXP II.

I took a few quick and dirities for anyone wanting to see the two side by side.

I think the biggest thing is the aggressiveness of the bezel compared to the smooth slop of the EXP II

Certainly the EXP II is a tad larger, but honestly if deciding between the two functionality, versatility, and perhaps a touch of bling compared to a more traditional look might be a better thought process.

Thanks for looking.

Great pictures and fantastic watches. I just sold my 216570 and miss it dearly - A classic tool watch. The GMT is a tad small for me and IMO a bit to much bling but I like it nonetheless, the blue colours are great. Nice watches both of them!

Great photos. I was torn between these two... And likely the Polar will be my next watch. I finally went with the BLNR because of the moveable bezel, with 2-tone cerachome + the trip-lock crown. In my estimation it just had the latest generation technology of everything. If I ended up with just 1 Rolex I wanted it to be this one. But I also love the beefy EXP II, just the daily wearers I've seen out there have the snot chipped out of the SS bezel. But it had been pointed out the bezel can be replaced for only a few hundred dollars if it took a really good whack and the resulting ding bothered me.

Both great watches.

I should add that if a white dial is a must--game over.

Beautiful comparison pictures. Such a tough choice, Rolex doesn't make easy that's for sure.
GMT for me, by a hair. Both wouldn't seem unreasonable if you could.

GMT for me. You can dress it up or dress it down. The Exp 2 is also great but more utilitarian...wont fit in a dressy situation.

Great pictures! Maybe it's just me, but the blnr looks larger than the exp2 .... Maybe a wrist shot would clear that up.
