Auction - advice (Day-Date)
Hi all;
The below piece is available via aution later this month, the guide price is 4k - 6k. There is only one photo available, but I can view prior to the aution date. I have looked on the for sale section of TRF to try and get a feel for the true value, but wanted some feel back first. A GENT’S 18CT GOLD ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL DAY DATE WRIST WATCH €4000 - €6000 http://www.oreillysfineart.com/lot/a...gold-bracelet/ Thanks in advance |

A quart is a fair amount of oysters as are multiple quarts. This one however looks like an Oyster Quartz.

Add in buyers premium, taxes, travel costs, etc. and the value isn't there IMHO.
Now if few bidders want this item you might get lucky. However, with phone bidding and commission bidding - you will never know if the owner or house might "shill bid" to get price up.
