#5 and my first pre-owned
I missed the LV when it came out and had bought my 2 tone the year before it came out and never ended up getting one. The green watch is back and a couple friends of mine have bought them. I personally am not a huge fan of the "Hulk" (I prefer the metallic look of the metal insert to the green ceramic) but always longed for a green bezel sub.
I picked up a new Breitling Superocean Heritage 46 a month or so ago and was tempted to get the black face / green bezel model but opted for the blue on blue knowing I would one day find a nice LV... A day ago I ran into a fellow I met at a local watch enthusiast meeting and he told me he had a minty LV for sale and we agreed to meet. He had described the watch as 9 or better. He was telling the truth with only minor scuffing on one link and some very faint desk marks on the clasp. Not a mark on the bezel or insert and it all looked pristine under magnification. All the paperwork and both tags were included and the price agreed upon was under market value. I swapped out the scuffed link with the mint spare and it looks brand new. It's my 5th Rolex and the first time I have not bought new. No regrets... Well, maybe one... every time I start saving up for my dream watch (18K Sub) I end up buying something and draining the "grail account".     W |

Welcome to the original LV club man !!! you won't regret it I am pretty sure.
I have the same problem as you by the way, saving up for something 'big' and then there's always an unexpected watch coming inbetween. Anyway we'll work and start saving again  that's life
