Help with authentication!

Hello TRF!

I am looking at buying a rolex but i have a comcern with the authenticity of the movement.

The watch is a 14060m and the movement is 3130.
The issue i am having is the proper caseback engravings on the inside it reads rolex geneva swiss stainless steel and a number but it does not indicate the model number. Secondly on the movement itself it reads "rolex geneva swiss" when all the reliable movement pictures i find of the 3130 indicate "montres rolex S.A geneva swiss"

Should i be concerned if its authentic?

the 3130 movement is correct on the 14060M, previous models 14060 are 3030.

as for the stamp, Rolex Geneva Switzerland stainless steal 2160 Stamp is supposed to be there also,

I just recall how it exactly looks, but that looks about right

and if you get it, that sir is a fine choice and congrats

if you look next to the 2 gold gears in the movement next to that big red one,
There will be another one peaking out saying hello

Sorry I didn't see this earlier; Rolex doesn't stamp a model # on casebacks because they use the same ones for more than one model.

You are good to go here...

if your so uncertain why don't you get it authenticated by a Rolex Store? I hear they charge a fee..100 Pounds or so in the UK and give a certificate of authenticity once they completely check it. Atleast you'l be satisfied... I've heard this exists, but I haven't checked it out myself so not 100% sure... anyone?

Rolex Canada will charge $150 but you're looking at leaving the watch with them for 10 days to 2 weeks before its done and ready for pick up
