I need help from watchmakers
I just bought a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust and it's keeping time good but for some reason the date does not stay center at all as shown on the pic. It seems that it tries to start changing to tomorrow's date from 6pm. Is this normal? My 1603 changes dates exactly at midnight. Please help

Looks like it could use a service.
My Exp II date wheel flips over a couple of minutes before midnight and according to Rolex Canada it's acceptable for a date wheel to flip a couple of minutes before and or after midnight. Never seen it start that far off of midnight though. It's a really sharp looking watch

the first day I wore my current DJ it did the same thing, I thought it was because I didn't wind it first. Only did it once.

Run the hands around the dial a few times manually so the date clicks through a few days...

You need to re-think what your looking for in service. Cheap and fast isn't the best. I go for experienced, professional, trusted and Rik at Time Care Inc takes care of mine.

I prefer going local but I don't know of anyone in your area.
RSC will do a good job but they take a long time, are not cheap, and have to abide by the company's draconian rules. As mentioned, Rik is a good choice, as is Vanessa; both are TRF members and frequently share their incredible knowledge and experience with us. I suggest you try one of them... Liljenquist & Beckstead and their sister store Lenkersdorfer (Tyson's Corner and Fair Oaks Mall) claim to be an authorized Rolex service center. I don't have personal experience with their service but it may be worth a try.
