Tile Floor 1, Submariner 0

The dreaded deed happened this morning, I somehow nudged my watch off of the kitchen table and it fell face down.

I immediately hacked the movement and then called the Dallas RSC.

C'est la vie...

OUCH! That is one of my biggest fears; doing exactly what you did.

Good luck with the repairs.

The exact same thing happened to me with my GMT II. Immediately a sick feeling in the bottom of your gut!

Sorry, RSC will make it perfect again...for a price

No, I did that to hack the movement.

Who knows, maybe I'll have a new Sub-C on August 6th!

Time to wind up the GMT.

Wow that looks like it dropped from a serious height! Hard to believe it simply dropped from table. Hope the repair restores things back to new!

Tragic. Hopefully you've resisted the urge to even the score with a hammer..

I can tell you: nothing. It happened many times with my 16030. It scratches but never breaks.

Except for the bathroom, wood or carpet for me. My Rolex does not come off my wrist anywhere near a tile floor.
