Please warn him!

Could somebody warn this guy that the Sub he bought is a fake. I warned all the other people and then e-bay stated that I had sent too many e-mails and stopped my ability to send any more. This is the joker that was giving money to charity after he sold knock-off watches for thousands of dollars. He sold 5 fake Rolex watches and I reported to e-bay several times and they did not shut it down.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Mens-Two-Tone-Ro...QQcmdZViewItem

If you just click on the guy's name that won it and send him a message that it is fake and direct him to www.rolexreferencepage.com; Sub 16613, then read the review and scroll down to the movement and he will see it is stainless steel with colored gears instead of the brass one he's got in his fake.

I hate seeing people get ripped off. It's a huge peeve of mine. I'm pleased I warned all of the others.

It's an ETA 2824-2, the movement of choice for counterfeiters.

Since e-bay did nothing about this guy I waited until everyone of them sold and then sent warnings to them all. I directed them to www.rolexreferencepage.com and www.myswissreplicas.com for proof that they were fakes.

Somebody wrote me and asked what the guy did to me that I felt the need to do that and I told him I hate thieves. People work too hard for their money to have some jackass steal from them.

I had the last guy call me this morning and directed him to where to look for proof and he is the one that left negative feedback. Hopefully e-bay bans this guy.

Thanks for all the help.

Good eye Al!..ah..I mean Sasquatch...

Also, it looks like he used 2 different pics for the caseback. One with stamped end pieces (wrong for the SEL) and one without.

Good work guys!

I have not posted here yet but I felt that this would be the best first post I have had at any forum........this guys is a disgrace to everyone. He is trying to sell a fake watch and then puts the St. Jude's Children's Hospital donation flag up. This guy makes me sick.....

i would hope that if i were unknowingly purchasing a fake anything on ebay, and someone saw it, they would do exactly what you did.

thanks.

One thing Terry, just be very careful that nobody can find out your true identity when you're busting these fakers. If I were to send warnings to people, I would:
1. install Tor and check out on any anonymizer proxys (www.torproject.org)
2. setup an anonymous email account (just google with "anonymous email") through Tor
These measures hopefully will be sufficient for small time crooks.

I hope so, but it seems like buyers are afraid to leave negitive feedback because then the seller leaves negitive feedback for the buyers.

The guy who bought the TT Submariner called me and I gave him the proof about how to tell that what he bought was fake. he stated the guy was trying to take action against him at E-bay's Security Center because he refused to pay for the watch once he won it. Now he put on the feedback that at least 8 e-bayers contacted him and warned him that this guy's watches were fakes. This guy is so screwed

Hopefully he gets banned.

Why hide? What Terry has done is spectacular and is looking out for a fellow man. If these so called crooks (more like idiots) were to try to hassle Terry we could just unite as the TRF front and jedi there asses

Terry -

I would have wanted to be warned. I was very close to buying my first Rolex on eBust. However, after reading about some of the horror stories, I just couldn't do it. I'm not a Rolex expert like many of you all, but appreciated the advice.
