How many forged carbon divers were made?

Hello,

I was wondering (even though we may never know the real number) how many of these were made? They were made for 2 years, I'm guessing about 60 each year, so about 120 all together.

Please give your estimate and if you have one, let's count how many are on this forum.

I'll start: 1

I'm confused...why are you saying "were"? They are still in production.

I have to believe that more than 60 were sold worldwide per year, but as you pointed out we'll probably never know.

Anyway, here's another one for you:

I have one. I would be surprised if they made so few of them. There seem to be a fair number around on the net. I have noticed that gray dealers have pushed up their asking prices lately.

s14roller, my understanding from this forum and speaking to the service center in Clearwater is they have stopped making it, only 2 years of production.

3 so far, thanks guys.

AP is probably the only one who knows for sure, but 60 a year sounds like a small number since they are making around 30K watches a year.

That low production would make LE models look pointless
Surely a 1000 at least

So far we have 5, that is leading me to believe the lower estimate may be close to being correct.

There's a few things – not everyone who is on forums will post if they have one…I know of people that have it and have not chimed in. Also, the forums probably account for a very small % of actual owners…

I agree that a small portion of the worlds population is on this forum, but I am only interested in those that:
- Know what AP is
- Are knowledgeable about AP
- Already bought one or have knowledge of the forged carbon diver

Of the people that fall into the criteria listed above, I am sure we can agree they are well represented on this forum.

How clear is the crystal on this AP?

Does it have a blue hue like Breitling crystals?

There are currently 15 on chrono24 so I'd imagine it's pretty low numbers in total, perhaps 500 or a little less.
