I'd go with the 16750 because of the quickset date, much better if you're wearing the watch in rotation with others.

This is the reason why the matte dial 16750 is one of my favorite references. All the charm of vintage with the modern features. Makes a difference for me.

1.) In my opinion I believe that it much easier to obtain / purchase a 16750 matte in all original condition than a 1675 matte in original condition. A lot of 1675 that i have seen For Sale has either been polished, or missing original bracelet etc....

2.) I also think that in the VERY NEAR future the 1675 will become more difficult to service as far as parts are concerned. RSC may totally stop servicing that reference claiming that it is to vintage Would anyone else like to comment ....... or post pics

16750, it's a modern Rolex, and one that still looks great.

I used to think 16750 for sure. Then I got a 1675. Now I want a 16760. Yeah, I'm indecisive.

+1 I have the 1601 and it drives me nuts setting the date. I usually wait until the date on it comes around and then wear it.

The quickset is one of the great features on the 16750. It also has a great look.

Yes, a 1980 16750 is a modern watch. A 1979 GMT 1675 is a modern watch.

Personally, I wouldn't know what to recommend since they are both so contemporary.

Actually, they are both great watches and either would do you well.

The quick set or double QS r definitely a plus but we r talking about vintage. It's like dd 1803 or 18038, which one do u prefer? I would go with originality. Some here only consider 4 digit as vintage ;)

Ky, I'm with you. I still haven't figured it out after all these years.
