Rolex DateJust

Hi, from searching the web you guys seem to be THE internet rolex experts so I was hoping you could help me out. I don't want to get my hopes up by traveling 2 hours to a Rolex AD and pay money to be told it's a fake. If you could tell me what makes it look like a fake I'd be very appreciative. I paid a pittance for it at least, picking it up in a couple days.

Thanks in Advance.

I do not understand your question.

If they are an authorized dealer, why do you think it is fake?

Having said that, I have never seen a watch like that and paying a "pittance" for it should be the first of many red flags.

It's a very bad fake. And your post reads like you already know that.

I agree with the above
If you're visiting an AD then they should only be selling genuine Rolex, or they'd risk losing their dealership status.

Having said that, that's one interesting looking rolex .... Not sure I've ever seen anything like it.

I think the OP means visiting the AD to verify the watch.

In any case, it looks rather dodgy..

The clasp is wrong, rolex never hallmarked their watches on the caseback like that, the cyclops dosn't magnify, the endlinks are wrong. The gold plating is wearing off, and by god, do a quick google search and tell me any authentic rolex has a crown that wonky.

I wouldn't even spend the gas money to pick it up.

It looks fake to me, you don't have go to a AD take to a buy and sell shop or a pawn shop near you. They could find, if it is real or fake.
