Rolex Birthday Gift - Post Cancer Treatment
Purchased a DJII (smooth bezel) SS Rhodium with Blue Arabic numbers from Williams Jewelers (Denver AD). Bought as a gift for my partner's 54th birthday. He was diagnosed with rectal cancer (terrible location) . He completes five weeks of radiation and chemo the day before his birthday. Deserves a really special gift for a new start to a new year!
The watch delighted me in person. Was hoping for more contrast between the numbers and the Rhodium face color, but ultimately liked the subtlety of the blue numbers. Proportions of the numbers were great. And when the light catches the face the color on the numbers pops! It will make a great "every day" and "special occasion" watch. Hopefully a great memory after beating that cancer, too. |

could do without the Bart Simpson part of the initial post... Too serious for such things... But anyway, Best wishes to him and you.. You have most likely been through a lot taking care of him as well, so buy yourself one too. I imagine you deserve it
