One of my best friends since elementary school was back in Calgary for a week on break from school, and so we went to the zoo! I actually took over two hundred photos, but I can't post that many, so here are some of my favourites. I'll probably end up adding more!

I can't resist, here are a few of my favourite, the elephants <3

I really tried to capture the harmony and calmness I felt in the one of her being fed by the handler, and different parts of the elephants. I didn't include all of the photos I took, but I absolutely LOVE elephants. They're such gentle giants. I could go on and on, but I don't need to bore you guys with my elephant love. Or my crazy tree-hugger stance against circuses that have any animals, especially elephants.

If it's any clue, I will never take my future children to any circus that uses animal performances.

Ok ok, I'm done!

The pictures are beautiful Ashely!! I really love how you really got pictures of those incredible spring colors. The elephant pictures look great too!

You're pictures alone make me want to visit my local zoo again, I feel its has been too long since my last visit.
