INCOMING!! 5513 Maxi V via TRF
Can't concentrate... USPS says my 5513 Maxi V is "out for delivery". I didn't wear a watch to the office today so the naked wrist and anticipation is more than I can take. No work is getting done!
The watch is a 1983 5513 Maxi V, which I purchased from Eddie11 right here on the forum. It looks gorgeous in the pictures I've seen... nice, clean dial, creamy indices with matching hands and an original bracelet. I brought a leather band and NATO to the office today in case the bracelet doesn't fit- figure I can at least wear it until I get the links out. Alright... I'm going to try and accomplish something work-related now and hopefully will have pictures to upload to this thread soon! |

Big congrats! We all know that feeling. I always make sure to bring my "new arrival kit" on those days. Spring bars with removal tool, screwdriver and strap just in case I'm not able to adjust the bracelet. But I do wear a watch and bring along a case to store it when the new one gets there.
I also have a maxi V and it's my favorite vintage piece. Coincidentally, I'm wearing it today. Can't wait to see pics of yours. |

BEHOLD!!
This thing is gorgeous. Perfect looking dial and hands. Great condition. My first Sub... Been looking for a 5513 for a long time and finally decided to bite the bullet. I don't like to talk about "Grail" watches, because I have too many "grails" as a result of my addiction... but this one is damn close. Big thanks to Eddie11 for the deal. I know this wasn't easy for him to do... he was having second thoughts all the way to the post office, I'm sure! But I'll give it a good home. FEAST YOUR EYES, FRIENDS!! |

Thanks, friends!
The bracelet is too big at the moment, so I put her on a spare NATO until I can get it re-sized. Here are a few more pics- on the wrist, in front of Charlotte, and with her new family. Couldn't be happier. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/ Haha, don't tempt me! I technically have two empty slots... The last one in the case plus one for my wrist. But I think I'll take a breather for a bit. Though I could use a Day-Date in gold... |
