...and then there were THREE.

I got the bug and I got it bad. The powerful infatuation of watches has a stronghold on me! I joined TRF 5 months ago and owned 1 watch and was perfectly happy. Then there were TWO (link). Now I own THREE,

Started with the 16710 (GMT) which I've had since new over 11 years ago. Got the 1016 (Explorer) a couple months ago and now the 116234 (Datejust) has been added to the collection.

As you can see, I'm trying to build a collection where no Rolex is like the other (and each serve a different purpose and holds a unique sentimental value to commemorate a life event).

(It's interesting to note that the 1016 and 116234 are both 36mm but the 116234 looks a bit bigger. Almost 38mm, right between the Explorer and GMT (40mm))

Nice collection! You should have your bases covered with these three, but I suspect that you'll pick another!

Fantastic collection, my friend. I love the diversity. The 1016 is my favorite Rolex and hopefully I'll be able to afford a fine specimen one day.

I think we have similar taste, all 3 I would be proud to own. Perhaps a sea dweller or sub next?

A Rolex collection isn't complete without a Sub! :)

You're good. Sub is definitely next...my father has a 14060 which will one day be mine but I don't know if I can wait, :) I do want to own a 5513 and I want to add a YG watch to the collection down the road...maybe a Sub or a DJ.

Scott, funny you bring up Genesis...I'm an avid fan of music but mainly into current indie bands and the like. Of course I have Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Stones, etc. records but never really got into Genesis until recently so starting to go through their catalogue...but I digress.

Nice watches! After you get a Sub, you'll need a Daytona. And then...
