Need Help Question on easy link bracelet clasp on DJ Two Tone

Wondering if I have a problem.
On my stainless easy link oyster bracelet (Random serial) the "small" portion above the cornet appears to be spring loaded to where it stays flat when the clasp is not closed.
On my Daydate Two tone easy link bracelet (G serial not random) the "small" portion above the cornet is not spring loaded and moves freely up and down when the clasp is not closed.
I can not remember if it has always been like this or if I have a problem. closest AD is quite far so if it is normal I won't have to go in.
Thanks

The thread title says DJ. I think Daydate was a typo.

Sorry for the confusion I ment Datejust. Also, looking at the two clasps it does appear that although they look similar the clasping mechanism is different.

I think I found the answer. I found that Rolex changed the part that attaches to the clasp (not the easy link part but the other end) on the 41mm DJ TT very recently in the random serials. The very very newer ones are springloaded and have a slightly different attachment. Just depends on where your clasp fell manufactrure wise for which one is on the bracelet. Both are good and work the same just a very little tweek. Rolex is known for this.
Perhaps someone with a diagram of both will pipe in.
