To FLIP or NOT to FLIP?

Ok you would all know now how much I love my Sea-Dweller, but I'm starting to feel I need some blue in my life. I'm pretty sure I know the answer to the question because the BLNR is the most popular Rolex sports watch right now, but I'm also very excited by the two tone Sub-C and the YM1 blue dial.

So what do you think I should do? Stay with my Sea-Dweller or flip for some colour, and if so, which one? Please post pics if you own one of the watches you're endorsing.....

NOOOOOOO!!! You are the biggest SDC advocate on the forum. The SDC is the perfect modern Rolex...you know that!

I own both the BLNR and the SDC and the BLNR pales in comparison IMO. None of the other SS watches in my collection are getting any wrist time. The SDC is KING of my SS lineup.

If you want some color, keep the SDC and save up for a 116613 or even a 116619 down the road. You will regret flipping that beauty...guaranteed.

Well it's up to you but in case you do it please don't try to convince everyone else that the BLNR is the best watch Rolex ever made and Sub owners don't like it 'cause they can't afford it.

I'd stick with the SDc and add the BLNR later.

Don't overthink it. Trust your gut. Flip for the BLNR. You'll have no regrets.

PCLs scuff quite easily, if your work requires outdoorsy stuff, I would suggest keeping the SD4000.

The latest issue of WatchTime is rather encouraging for the BLNR too...

That Sea Dweller pic is perfect in everyday. I don't own either the SDc or the BLNR but if I had to choose I would stick with what you got. That watch looks amazing.

The YM looks nice, but after a while you might find the dial looking small because of the bezel..

Some really good points. I don't really 'want' to change but feel some colour would be nice. Saving for a second will be a while off.....

The TT sunburst is the best version of the 116613LB ref, but can look a bit busy at times..

There's only one blue option that I'd advocate...

Whatever you do, I would keep your SDc and save for the next watch. It's clear that you really like your SDc so you will regret selling it.

You seem to love your SD so I'd advise against letting it go. If possible, save for the BLNR.

I'd typically say no but man the 116613LB sunburst is awesome in the flesh.

????

this is unexpected! i would have thought you'd hold on to it forever.

keep your SDc, IMHO, and add an older GMT or LVc or blue Submariner for color.

Strange enough i find it quite boring compared to the two-tone, and normally i don't like two-tone, though to be fair I haven't handled the Wg version as it's not within my price range

I'd stay put. Your passion about the SDC is pretty evident.
The few you are considering are all nice but not as much as what you already have, in my opinion.
I own a BLNR but still prefer the SDC and plan on adding one.
