Usual discounts (if such a thing exists)

Apologies if this has been asked before (which it more than has), but what - if any - would be a usual discount that could be negotiated on a TT sub-C or GMT?

Most large chain ADs won't budge. Maybe 5 - 10%.
That said, discounts are available. Check pricing from some of the trusted sellers here.
Although you may not be able to get the same at an AD depending on your relationship, you get the idea.
Bottom line 0% - 20% and up.

Try dominic hackett watches in london

he's a broker and get you a much bigger discount compared to ad's. Or iconic watches who i've used before.

They are listing at leafs 20% off

Authorized dealers will not discount steel and two tone at all, period. Gold and platinum can generally be had at 10%+ off if you pressure them.

Discounts are often a reflection on your relationship with the dealer.

I got a discount off my Explorer from an AD. I don't have any experience with Subs or GMTs though.

In my limited experience this is not the case - I got a small discount when buying my LV-C, so it stands that a discount may also be possible on a TT. Seems the consensus is 5 - 20% depending on the AD +/- relationship

X2.

Don't know how generous the AD's are in the UK, but the AD's in my area tend to give more discounts on TT and gold models. Again, the amount of business provided to the AD will often times reflect the amount of discount offered. In my experience, a 20% to 25% discount can be applied to most, if not all TT and gold watches.

Personally, I have my sights set on a 116613 LB and the price offered to me was 25% off the MSRP.

Good luck.

The 116613 LB is one of the TTs i'm considering - early days yet as i only bought my LV-C 3 months ago, so back enjoying the hunt again!
