Excitement

Hello guys, i though i'd share that i recently purchased myself an Eames Chair and ottoman from Herman Miller. Out of the many things i have i am most excited about this for a few reasons. 1) The Eames Chair is the most comfortable chair known to man kind. My grandfather had one and when he passed, he left it to my brother. 2) The classic and timeless design of the chair fits in any interior decoration set up. From tree trunks and hedges in a field to the most modern interior and the old Victorian, it looks good. I like brown.

Herman Miller estimates 4-6 weeks to build and then shipping. I think i will sit on a rock until it gets here. Any advice?

Anyways, just figured i would share and see if anyone else has one. Thanks guys.

Congratulations on your chair James. :-)
You seem pretty excited! I tried googling it & got a lot of different images. Can you post a pic of the style you bought?

I picked the Brown MCL Leather and standard Walnut veneer.

Here's the link to the page with specs.

Thank you. The wonderful ladies at Herman Miller were very knowledgeable and kind. I was very pleased to have spoken with them and ordered the chair over the phone rather than clicking buttons. When i deal with kind people i always recommend their products and services. i used to have a route that drove through the town in which their, Herman Miller, world head quarters is located in Zeeland, Michigan and i can say that the town is very small, the kid of place that everyone turns up at the market Saturday morning and shows up for ice cream at the corner on the evenings. A great place for great company.

They are great my wife and I are fortunate enough to have 2, one cream and one black, they match nicely to their limited print Gucci pillows. Our two are with the Santos Pallisander veneer. Sorry my photos and some clouds don't do them justice.

Thanks for the link. The images I was viewing were office type looking chairs. The one you ordered is very nice. :-)
