Icon4 Hi Guys!!! High Alert!!! Scammer In Sales Corner!!! Please Read!!!

Hi All,

There is a seller in the sales corner selling a 16613 TT Sub P series! I am many others were conned by him! He uses a lot of different name and also Gmail based emails.

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=37451

His username here now is "no1panerai"! I smelt fishy and indeed it was this same a**hole!!!! Why I know cos he uses the same pic that he provided me and many many others!!!

Also please be aware that he is not only selling his 16613 but a white Daytona SS too! He might have both watches and they are authentic but he is ALL OUT to swindle your money! I and many others had lodged police reports and internet fraud against him!!!

He is trying to build up his posts in forums by participating some threads and posts. And he does not have any good feedbacks from fellow members. All he will give are emails that he himself made it up!!!

PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!

PS: To the owners and moderators here, I have all the evidence against him and I am not blaspheming some individual.

For those who fell victims of him, please email me at greeklander@gmail.com. The other victims and I are gathering as much infos as possible to nail that scumbag.

The watch looks authentic from the pics but that can be misleading because sometimes scammers tend to send what is not in the pictures anyway.

I hope this situation gets taken care of soon.

Tom you will be surprised. I am on the net for watches for 4 years now and I thought I would not fall again for one, as I was burnt before many years back. But I did, thanks to my stupidity and greediness!

A Doctor from Denmark was conned by him too for a SS DAYTONA for around $10k or so. He is not so stupid as he priced his watch next the market prices. There are many more who were conned by him.

Btw, the name that he used in my case was CHRIS JOHNSON, from CALGARY, ALBERTA, CANADA!!!

He has used a few others names too! BEWARE!!!

I believe that he has this watch! He sent me maybe about 8-10 pics and with a certificate too! But once your do the bank wire and even by PAYPAL (which I did), you can say BYE BYE to your money!!!

We (the victims) are teaming up to catch him and he is going down soon! The thing is that he still has the F guts to go on doing this dirty scam!!!

Maybe the next one he will scam will be his last one.........cos after that he will be RUN OVER BY A TRUCK!!!!!

I have unapproved the post.

Can you send me all the information you have by PM so that I can show the other mods?

We need to have our facts straight before we ban him completely.

There is stuff about this guy on watchnet too. I thought the price was too low but did not want to comment. Kudos for bringing this up. If he is a scammer, the Mods will have this guy smoked out of his hole PDQ.

I was in dialogue to buy this item from him, glad I didn't!
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=35502

I guess when a guy has 70 posts on this forum, we would expect him/her to be a "regular" which in some way acts as a type of "endorsement" through some familiarity...?

It does not mean 70 posts is good or bad. I have lesser posts than him but I do not go around doing such evil things cheating others' money!

All I can say is that if you want to buy from someone on the net.....MAKE SURE HE GIVES YOUR REFERENCE/S of some poster/s who had been posting as a long time member/s and with many posts. DO NOT BE TAKEN by emails that he gives you. He can create every one of them for all you know.

Not necessarily. I've seen a new member putting in a simple comment in a lot of the posts in the "New Member" section, like he was posting indiscriminately on those not many people read parts of this forum to get his post count up. So, maybe you would want to search exactly what the seller has posted before making a decision whether he's "regular" or not.
It's your hard earned money, you gotta be diligent with it

Also it happens in ebay too, there are many sellers with a lot of positive feedbacks and 100% too but if you check their items, the things they bought were $0.99 things like ebooks......etc! That means anyone can also chalk up 101 positive feedbacks by just splashing $100 on ebooks for $0.99 each! All they need is to wait for 3 months to pass and then no one can see the items anymore as those links will be expired over a period of 90 days.

However, you can check on all the sellers' items, chances are those sellers still sell their items on ebay.

I will email Vernon to establish this. If so, then it ramps up the potential severity even more.

The matter is being attended to backstage in anycase.

I do not have a white dial Daytona for sale either, you definetely do not have the right person. I have no idea what you are talking about, this is the only forum that I have used in regards to a watch hobbyist site and I have never cheated anyone online or through malpractise.

You certainly need to get your records straight.

WOW.

The dude could have at least relocated to Brazil, where the country doesn't care about online cons. In Canada, he could be in trouble.

Thanks for the warning.

Thank goodness that TRF has this board, unlike that other website...where they giggle at your misfortune.

Guys, without any proof that one person is purported to be another person (as described in watchnet or any other forums), it's most unwise for us to speculate.
We don't want any defamation lawsuits.
