That's right, guys.

How great an impact can this ceramic bezel take before it shows up a scratch?

Now that there are a number of users out there, surely quite a few of you must have had some dings and bangs.

So, has the ceramic bezel come up with any scratch or abrasion?

To be honest, a scratchproof bezel doesn't really mean that much to me. Its not the part of the watch that gets scratched the most IMO. Now a scratchproof bracelet, thats a different story!!!!

I wouldn't say it would stand up to the abuse of one of these

But from what I've heard they are virtually scratch proof.

Here is what happened to me

One day i was at the city center and was walking on the street. Then a woman passed next to me and hit my watch so hard with her watch that i thought that the bezel would definetely be scratched. Of course i was furious and she apologized then i took a look at my watch and everything was ok no scratch

To be honest the hit was really hard

I think I've seen only one post regarding a scratch on the IIC bezel...so I suppose they're holding up 99% of the time.

I caught mine a few of times on doors, desks etc and been filled with dread each time but so far, touch-wood, its holding up ok & as good as new.

Thanks, guys......looks like all the heat treatment (1500ºC) the bezel received during the manufacture seems to be working!!

That's true but my watch is still 80 days old

I wonder how the ceramic bezel will look like in ten years from now

If you treat it nice, why would it look any different than it does today?

I guess you'll be able to find out how tough the bezel is on the Super Dweller when you get it.

In all honesty, I love the CYCLOPS and must have it on my Rolex. I've owned TWO SDs in the past.....and each time felt the absence of the cyclops.

I had the 45.5 mm OMEGA PO which weighed a massive 222 grams. While I was able to carry it off nicely, it was just too damned heavy and uncomfortable at most times.

The DSSD is also a massive 43 mm and 222 grams. I don't need that.....seriously.

What's up with Rados?

I think Rado is the Rolex for rich people who don't want to be bothered by mechanical watch (need winding, etc).
