you all are nuts!

Who the h_ll has the time to watch there watch loose or gain -3 or +3 sec. a day, week, or year. I mean does it really matter? I think you people are in need of some serious therapy. Make sure you tell you shrink on your next visit that you keep track of how many sec. your watch looses or gains. LOOSERS.

Not sure if this is a joke thread, but is it not reasonable to expect a certain standard of accuracy from a watch you have paid so much for?

In any case, TRF is an enthusiast forum. You can reasonably expect some hair-splitting here!

BTW, it is 'losers', not 'loosers'.

I understand, and your point is well taken, but it is ludacris (hope I spelled that right) how people are obsessed with how accurate their timepiece is to the second. I mean come on man, these people are sick. Oh my god, I think my watch just gained +.012 percent of a nano second since I typed my last word. Holly cow, it just happened again. Is there some kind of 1-800 number I can call, I really need to talk to someone about this crappy Sea-Dweller I bought. Hey will ROlex give me a refund?

I think you may exaggerating the circumstances a bit. If everybody REALLY was that obsessed about accurate timekeeping, they would buy a $100 Casio quartz chronograph that keeps time better than a second a month (at least mine does!).

In any case, is it not interesting to see just how perfect a mechanical movement can be? This is truly pushing the limits of engineering precision.

Tell me, then, why do YOU own a Rolex? I'm assuming it's not for its accuracy. Did you mean 'touche'? The 'e' should have an accent.

Definitely not for accuracy. I just like how it looked when I tried it on at the store. I didn't even know the price when I went to look at the watches. I tried on a few TT Bluesy, YM Plat, and the SD. Then walked out with a SD, and never looked back.

sbakar- please keep me updated on spelling errors. Are you sure touche' like atache' should have the "e" accented. Kisses

Egelbar, I think you need to calm down, you are entitled to your opinion but calling other members that have an interest in the accuracy of their watches 'LOOSERS' and other insults is not in accordance with forum protocols.

If you don't like a particular discussion then don't read it, there are always going to be some things that interest you and things that don't.

This applies to anyone else that wants to make a personal insult towards another member or group of members.

Hi Harry,

There is over there as in "There is their watch".

If my watch was loose I'd tighten it up.

As for 'ludacris'.

And by the way, I didn't officially call anyone a loser. I called them LOOSER. The words look quite close, with too entirely different meanings.
