So as some will have been aware I was having issues with my new 114060. Wore it in Cyprus and after 5 days it was 5 minutes fast

Since returning to the UK I have checked its timing against time.is, as recommended by many on here. 48 hours in and its 2 minutes too fast already.

Its going back to the AD to be looked at on Saturday.

Today I got my 16600 SD out of the safe to wear and also to check its timekeeping as its an 8 year old unserviced example.

After strapping it to my wrist I instantly fell for it all over again, the perfection of the dial, the way the crystal sits just proud of the bezel, the slim lugs and the small lume plots.

I had intended selling it on my return as I though the SD would be surplus to requirements but I'm going to have to apologise to Phil and tell him to find another SD as this is here to stay.

What a beauty!!!
