I can't see!

All right, honestly guys, how many of you have trouble reading your dials?
Time, date, etc.
Not Maxi dials.
Hell, I'm just guessing there is some print on there somewhere... lol.
If it wasn't for this site, I wouldn't really know WHAT my watches actually look like!
Glad so many of you are such damn fine photographers.
Cheers.

There are a few models where legibility is an issue. I usually stay away from those unless the dial is so dang beautiful it doesn't matter.

I just keep going larger. I'm worried that in about 10yrs I might need a U-Boat.

Some dials are just hard to read. The black faced Daytona comes to mind.

That was a good one and I missed it the first time...lol.

YOu're right about the pilot dials. What would a true German Pilot style look like if Rolex made one. Damn cool I bet.
In the mean time I struggle with Rolex's sort-of-pilot watch... GMT

Perhaps go see witch doctor or medicine man they may have some magic potion or mystical powder to help your eyesight. Or get you some glasses being 2014 and all.

I had a hard time quickly reading my YMII, or RG 116515 Daytona. Too busy, and too shiny

I buy models with contrasting dials/hands and I like lume, so Subs are my favorite. You should see the Tudor Pelagos!
I have a tuxedo DJ and a tt blue dial DJ with gold hands.

Not from bad eyes, since I have better than 20/20 from LASIK, but I find some dials harder to read. I really dislike busy dials and have walked away from several fees deals because I could not easily read the dial.

You can always get yourself one of these 'easy to read' models.

I think I must be unbalanced. I love to wear my Zephyr, although it is small by current standards. It has a totally uncluttered dial. I also like to wear my Breitling, which has the busiest dial you could imagine.

GMT not bad for legibility. Panerai 005 great.
