So this is happening...

So I was at work last night since I work midnights and on my down time I was looking online for a luminox to add to the collection. I came across the website "overstock.com" and stumbled upon their "pre owned Rolex watches" and couldn't believe the prices they have for their rolexes!!! My jaw dropped from how INSANE they are to be charging people that.

Anyways, I took some photos so everyone can see the amount of price gouging that's going on there. Have a good Thursday everyone!!

11k for a used LVC? Unfortunately some schmuck will probably pay that...but then again as Tom stated...asking is a different world from getting..

Hopefully that sucker knows best and doesn't fall for that. Shit, for that I would go to an AD and pay full retail price without a problem lol. Luckily we have great sellers here so we will NEVER have to get suckered

We all know what David Hannum said in criticism of P. T. Barnum ...

That is another example of the proven fact that when purchasing ANY high cost item:
One must do their research and due diligence.

Probably better than saying you purchased your new Rolex at Sams Club while shopping for a gallon of ketchup and lawn chairs.

They put Tourneau's $14k pre-owned Daytona to shame.

How is that different from half (or more) of the non-AD dealers that sell Rolex watches? It isn't.

There is a large section of America that has heard about Rolex but has no idea what they cost, other than they are expensive. So a certain number of those people will think they are getting a deal, since Overstock probably has a payment plan.

We bought a bed for our guest room from them and it was a very good price for a black metal frame with headboard. Back then, they did not stock luxury goods.

Not that it makes it much better but 12-15% off coupons are pretty readily available for overstock.com
