That's the 4030 movement

It's the zenith movement used by the older daytonas the 16520's

Are you saying it is real?

They have 0 feedback. The other thing that does not make any sense is that they claim they bought Rolex watches, his/hers as a wedding gift. Who sells their wedding gift to each other? Where is the romance in that? I would never sell the Seiko my wife bought me for our wedding. We were both young and could not afford what we have today. Even though I no longer wear the watch I could not see myself ever selling it.

This makes no sense. The 0 feedback is a dead end in my opinion.

The photo of the movement comes from a real watch and shows a genuine 4030 movement

My guess is that they borrowed the photo from somewhere else

Typical behaviour of a scammer

Also reported this. It's funny looking at two or three different watch pictures; one SS, one TT, then to hear it was only worn once yet the age is 1970 - 1999, and it is a wedding present to boot.

MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree on the zero feedback being a dead end which will result in money being taken if someone isn't carefule.

Here is where he got two more of his photos from

http://cgi.ebay.com/DAYTONA-ROLEX-WA...QQcmdZViewItem

I am still looking for the open case of the watch and will have found picture number 4. I have all this evidence for the unsuspecting buyer. What a dirtbag.

All Good! The guy who bought the watch knew it was a scam and wrote this:

Thanks. I have my money in lockdown. Sometimes it is fun to screw these guys over. Before the sale I sent the seller 6 e-mail questions, none of which were answered. I also saw the 18k/ss nonsense, and asked about that, with no answer.I have uncovered at least 4 other Rolex scams just in the last two weeks. If guys like us see this, what is up with E-bay? Are they blind. Last week the same seller had 5 Similar Rolex for sale all at the same time, and I know he sold them all. I was able to get the e-mail of a guy who bought two of them. I don't know if he paid for them or not, but I did warn him. Stevie Wonder could have seen that one. Anyway, I appreciate you contacting me. Maybe we have slowed this down for a while.
Rick

Thanks to all that reported this guy.
