Just wanted to say hello.

Hello,

I live in Pasadena, an I have been enjoying reading this forum for the past couple of weeks. I am not a collector but I do enjoy watches. The past 20 Years I have mostly be wearing Suunto's, I also have an Oakley watch... I like big watches.

I do have a couple of valuable watches, one is my great grand father's, it is a Gold Omega pocket watch which was part of a very limited production run to commemorate the 1900 Paris Universal Exposition. The second one is a Vintage Rolex Air king which I believe is one of the first with a perpetual movement, I have had it for well over 30 years... It is presently being serviced at the Dallas Rolex Service location, which is where they handle vintage watches.

After dropping my airking at the Los Angeles Service Center, I dropped by the local AD and decided I wanted get a new Rolex. I am leaning toward the DeepSea with the Blue Grad ( I am an Avid Scuba diver..., the watch is definitely impressive and would make a perfect back-up to my dive computer) Unfortunately, the AD didn't have it, the actually have a waiting list...

cheers.

Welcome. You should be able to find a DeepSea around here from one of the trusted sellers.

Welcome. Suunto;s and Invictas are 50mm plus grants. But if you got the swagger to rock them, rock on!
