ladies watches

Why are they so rare in the classifieds? Just thought I'd ask. Looks like ponycar350 has listings but others are rare. Thanks.

I wrote ponycar350 with what I'm looking for but thought I'd bump this up in case anybody wanted to answer it.

I think that women see their watches as part of their jewelry options. Just like they don't sell off their earrings and necklaces. the thought to sell off a watch never gets on their radar screen.

Absolutely right. My wife gets a new Rolex and she will never consider selling an old one. They're all lined up in the jewelry box.

I think you are right. I just suggested to my wife that we sell her Tag and buy a Lady Datejust and she said she "likes" her watch. I guess she wants both...

A lot of women are migrating to larger models (36mm+) so that may change. Generally my wife favors her 36s over the 31 which on it's own is stunning and is her first one.

As tiny as she is, she will not consider anything smaller than the 31 (she favors the DD over a Pearlmaster 31mm even)

She tends to be pretty trendy so maybe the availability of ladies pieces will change?

I see a lot of women wear men watches nowadays.

When I bought my 114060 from a local AD a month ago, I noticed the lady manager there worn a white face Daytona. It looked great on her.

Agree, tried to sell or even flip one of my wife's watches and she thought I was crazy!
