milgauss
Hi everyone
I'm really toying with getting a milgauss - they're just so different They don't have the usual rolex sports DNA They look quirky and refreshingly modern compared to the DJ.... The thing is I've had the gv twice now and flipped it faster than a fast thing.... Any way out of my dilemma or pictures of various milgauss appreciated.... |

I like the Milgauss. It's like the little quirky friend of the group that doesn't quite fit in but it's such a sigh of relief when he sticks around. I have the blue Milgauss.

Flipped twice already?? Sounds like you might be more in love with the idea of a quirky GV than the actual watch itself...online photos are nice but you wont know what your gut says till you get it on your wrist, and it sounds like you've already tried that one out twice......

Well if you've flipped the GV twice, try one of the others. How about that nice crisp white dial?

Intesting piece in the line. There are times I like it and then there are times I don't.

The plain black dial version is my favorite. Simple and classy.

I like the gv. If it's not for you then try another model.

If you flipped twice then why do you think getting another one now is going to change you? I really wanted to get one too, but when I tried it on it just didn't blow me away. I then saw the Explorer II 42mm in both black and polar faces. I tried both and the polar pushed my buttons.
I really don't think a Milgauss is for you... |

The green crystal is what makes this watch special IMO. If you've flipped it twice already I'm not sure you'll love the other versions. I'd look elsewhere.

This is the one to have, man...
It is so choice. If you have the means then I highly recommend picking one up.

I like not wearing it for months at a time then the day I put it back on I remember all over again why I was drawn to the GV. Maybe you just haven't given it enough "off the wrist" time?

You can't really go wrong with either model. The flat black dial is awesome and different than many Rolex models. The white and orange is also great IMO. The new blue comes in at a distant 3rd. I don't dig on it honestly. I think it boils down to black or white. With a black dial, you get a little more color variety on the dial. Which may be a consideration for you.

Thanks all
Ill ponder a bit more. Definately agree gv and likely z isn't for me. I'd look at white or black |

I have flipped it now, going down the vintage road.
Loved the idea that it isn't as common as the GV. Never seen the black dial in the wild. |
