Rolex 14060 at Farmers Market

My parents were at the farmers market and came across a 14060 from 2004 and a 1968 Oysterdate, I think that's what she said, at a jeweler that has been there forever, and I know this all sounds shady. Apparently the Sub has a box, not sure if it is the original box, the 68 has a box but not a Rolex one, he apparently has the original bill of sale for each.

He is asking $1800 for the 68 and get ready for this, $5800 for the 14060!

I am going to go see them next weekend, would never buy it, just want to look, but I think he will be sitting on them for a long time, but maybe not if he finds someone who has no clue.

Sorry for the fuzzy pic, my Mom took it, I will try to get better ones next weekend.

I went down to look at it, seemed like an average condition pice, she said $5800 and I told her that's a little steep, I mentioned TRF and seeing 16610's for around $5500 and the 14060 for around $4000.

I kinda wowed her with my overall knowledge, not that it is as deep as many of the members here, but she said she wished she had my knowledge, I proudly wore my DSSD and they saw it so they knew I wasn't stupid.

And of course the ND sub was her favorite.

The guy, who was maybe the owner, said to let him know what I wanted and he could get it for me, I said I will keep that in mind.
