Hi, sometimes I have question in my mind...Why I bought Subs? I can't dive. And if I can, I never wear it when I'm diving, even never wear it when I go shower. Do you have a same question in your mind too? Do you wear your Sub or SD when you dive? This only a killing time thread, not so serious. Please your reply here. Thanks Guys!!!

I really need my SD for desk diving. And since I get increasingly more work at the office, now I need the DSSD.

I always shower, swim and/or dive with my watches...why don't you TR?

It's just nice to know you don't have to worry about water while wearing an oyster.

Scratching from desk diving is another matter.

My sub has seen the rain and the shower here in Aus... but in two weeks we shall be in the drink testing and pushing the limits of scuba off the island of Zanzibar.... to about 5 to 10 meters or so.... :-) :-)

I live in Arizona so I am not a diver but I wear my sub swimming all the time. For me it is nice to have a watch that I can wear in the water without having to worry if it will be OK.

When I got my SD, I figured this wiould be my only Rolex purchase ever!

I decided to get the most evidently rugged watch as a result, and given that the SD has no cyclops sealed the deal for me.

I would go next for a TT Blue Sub, the idea of a Sub being that I would want something that was as rugged, waterproof and life-proof as possible I suppose.

I don't dive but I love to snorkle and swim at the beach. That is one of the reasons I bought my watch. I wouldn't think twice about getting mine wet. My 168000 that is around twenty years old loves the water! When I go snorkeling it looks even better underwater.

I bought my SD in Dubai and baptized it in Maui

What I like most about my SD is the peace of mind it gives me. I figure if it can withstand 4000ft of water pressure, then it can take anything I could possibly dish out on it. So yes, I shower, swim, dive, run, etc without hesitation.

We need a clasp that's scratch resistant to 80 hrs/week. As deep as its getting where I work, I need to get a BSSD!

Mine's been in the ocean (well, Gulf, technically), pool, shower and hot tub. Shooting, four-wheeling, parasailing, whatever. They were meant to be worn and enjoyed!

But, I do admit to using it to time food when I'm grilling. I'm not allowed in the kitchen much, with good reason, but grilling is gooooood.

And wow, does a Sub look good doing it or what?!?
