AP Travel Cases
I am sure this has been discussed before, but is it possible to purchase the AP leather travel cases similar to the one sold here...
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ight=AP+travel I am also aware of the existance of these as well, but don't know how one obtains one... http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...ight=AP+travel I called the NYC and Miami boutiques today, but they are unwilling to sell them. is this the sort of thing where if you go in, and have an AP on your wrist, you might get one? Or does one have to wait for service, which is when, as I understand it, you receive one of these. |

I think it's a servicing/boutique swag kinda thing, I got one when I had the 15400 in for its third year warranty validation.

The second link travel case is one I would't mind owning. I can also say the one from the first link I received was from a service from AP

I've got the second one, actually I had both but gave one to a pal. They come as gifts from AP, the dealer then gives them to his customers, maybe ask your boutique for one.

Well, I will have to work some magic, because I am buying my AP from an AD, and not a boutique.

If you want a quality travel watch case check out the Phase De Lune cases. I got mine from The misterchrono.com website.
Not cheap but superb quality available in 1, 2,3 or 4 watch size. Cushions are fully compressible and are held securely in place with press studs so your watch isn't just loose in the case. Far superior to the brown square AP service boxes IMO. However the 2nd AP case looks superb - if you can find one! 😄 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yup, the first one is the standard AP service box, while the second is usually given away as swag. I'm pretty sure that they're not for sale.

I have a brown leather one like the second one linked to. Got from boutique during a "watch walk" in NY a few years ago.
Sent a 15400 in for 3rd year warranty water test and was disappointed not to get one then. Came back in a neat blowup balloon bag but instead...but that was a throwaway once deflated. |
