AP ROC 26320 RG question
Why is it so difficult to find a pre owned ROC 26320 RG with strap? I know this particular model sells very well but there seems to be no pre owned one in the market? How come?...
For a brand new one, how much discount should I expect from a gray market dealer or an AD? Also I hear the AP doesn't hold its value as much as a rolex in the pre owned market...how true is that? Thanks in advance |

20-25% off could be expected on a new one. AP's hold their value, but compared to more desirable Rolexes like a Daytona, Sub, GMT, etc they do not hold value as well. However the being said, they are pricey watches, they tend to increase in retail annually, so if you were to hold for a few years, you'd likely make your money back (or some) in not too long of time

Thanks spencer. I just read a thread on the forum on AP discounts. Some people have gone as far as to get 37%..or 30%+ on gold APs. You think that's something to expect regarding the particular model I'm interested in?

I bought an (almost new) used one a year ago. Indeed it was hard to find, but after 6 months I found it on chrono24. This one was 3 months old and even with a loup untouched, I paid +/- 45% under the european listprice.
You have to be patient, but you will find one. |

There aren't many around I was actually looking for a non chrono RG but when one came up on chrono24 I snapped it up. I would hope for 20% off from an AD, maybe more from a reseller.

It's worth asking, but talk is cheap on the forums, plus relationships go a long way. Some guy coming off the street for an AP likely won't get 30% plus off. But who knows. I've heard from many people that AP is cracking down a bit on discounts and that most AD's make the smallest margins on AP. That being said, at least 20% can be expected.
