Patek Philippe at Tiffany & Co.
I visited the opening of the Patek Philippe Salon and Museum show at Tiffany & Co. in New York yesterday. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the NY area as the museum is only there through Saturday, it will also be show in Beverly Hills in May. Many beautiful and historic pieces as well as the new Patek Philippe watches announced at Basel 2008 were all there.

Nice pics Lisa. Reminds me of the PP museum in their hometown, but I'm jealous nonetheless.
Interesting that photography was allowed, as in their homeland, it's a big no-no. |

I am pretty sure it has alredy been to The Hour Glass in Melbourne earlier this year. There were similar stands set up there for maybe a week. I never got a chance to see inside as I was passing by to work.
What a shame. |

That 5960 on display is going for a $7,000-10,000 premium on the secondary market.
Could have made a move for it.

Melbourne was not on the Patek agenda. The Hour Glass on Collins, well, the only Hour Glass was trying to unload some ex-stock but I find them... tiresome. snooty and just downright condescending. |

Thanks, Lisa, for sharing those pics with us. Pateks are fabulous, expensive watches. Some of them can appreciate tremendously over a period of time.
