Real or Fake Rolex Ceramic Subamriner 116610lv Hulk?
Hello Friends,
I am checking out this watch in person tomorrow, and the seller agreed to meet at an AD. The AD said that they will be able to give me their best opinion on the authenticity of this watch, but they won't open the caseback for me to look at the movement. The piece itself is a little beat up, and these are the only pictures of it I have at the moment. As of right now I do not have any concerns, but I do not know the seller and wanted to get your opinion. The seller mentioned that it was bought at Lux Bond and Green about a year ago. The warranty card is supposed to be stamped and signed on the other side, but I haven't received that picture yet. Thanks in advance for your help! Marek Here are the pics: |

Looks good but unless the price is very very good I'd pass one one in that condition.

Woa, that gauge in the case at 9 would scare me.

That's an easy fix... No case needed. Laser weld.

The case might be fixable, but I would wonder what was done to make a gouge like that, and what else may be damaged inside?

Would be nice if you could open it up to check that. My guess is that the ad won't because of the pressure testing issue. Looks genuine to me but I would want to buy it really right, because it needs some work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Ref # (Style) should be LV, not just V. I have a bad feeling about this watch; I would pass for a better model.
I own the same model and see some differences on the tags, numbers, etc. Proceed with caution. |

The newer warranty cards that are half white and half green say LV. The older all green warranty card like the one here says V, just like mine and my watch is as real as it gets. Not a factor that determines authenticity.

I stand corrected. Real, but still in bad shape. I hope you get a great price.
