3712 or 5712?

Since there are differences between them, notably the ears, rounded on the outside for the 5712, straight or turned slightly inside for the 3712, and also a very small 7 hour marker on the 3712 and none on the 5712, plus a different case design, I wanted to know what was your preference, if not to take into account the exclusivity of the 3712, I think that just upon looks I prefer a little the 5712, the rounded ears give it IMO a better harmony, on pics it's quite noticeable, this is the 3712:

And here is the 5712:

I give the 3712 a very slight edge but would not refuse either. Are the movements the same?

Didn't notice the smaller date fonts on the 3712, so definitely the 5712 since I have it and the date isn't very easy to read in some lights, plus prefer the screw down crown, for the rest the 3712 is a 2 piece case whereas the 5712 is a 3 piece, cheaper to produce. For the size yes it's the same as far as I know, about the rarity of the 3712 being a problem to be enjoyed properly it's possible, but wouldn't mind having a 5711P which is much rarer, but there is no way that I would get either one, hesitated on the 3712 but the price difference put me off. About the movement it's the same except if I'm not mistaken Patek introduced some improvements in 2008 so theoretically the 5712 might be a little better...
