DateJust II Rhodium Dial arabic which bezel? 116300 vs 116334
Apologies for another indecision thread. This is for a mid-50's lawyer who represents a lot of developers and start up tech companies. I know he has a EXP 1016, an EXP 1 39mm, 2 Sub 11610's, 3 TT Datejusts with fluted, and a mid and a full sized Yachtmaster each with platinum. Concerned the fluted bezel with Rhodium and Arabic numbers will be too "big" or "flashy".

Go with domed. Something different from what he already has

Smooth bezel is the way to go if you're concerned about flashiness.

I went through this same decision a few months back. FWIW, I ended up going with the fluted. The Arabic numerals help give the watch a sporty look while the fluted bezel means it can be just as easily dressed up. Plus, if he already has 3 fluted DJs, I think it's pretty clear where his preference lies!

This is a tough one. It's like how WG DD only has fluted whereas platinum DD only has domed. Ironic that in the case of DJ the stainless is fluted. Gold is always fluted across the product lines (disregarding engine turned since stainless).

One of those pics above is mine of this baby. I love it. I really think the fluted bezel adds some pop to the watch. Both are great looking but if money isn't the issue go with the 116334. Since he has such a wide collection I think this one will be most appreciated. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That is my favorite DJ II dial. I would go with the smooth or domed bezel.

Domed with Jubilee is an excellent combination, and sounds like it would complement the existing collection well.

On this particular model, I like the fluted...no rational reason, just like it.

Fluted all the way. Absolutely love it. Fluted to me is what makes the DJ. This is my favourite DJ.

Went by the AD and looked at them. Fluted, hands down. It is not too big or sparkly. They had a SubC no date but it looks clunky next to the 14060. AD would only discount on the 31mm or LadyDate
