I read that the Explorer 1 1016 was launched in 1963. So how is it possible that here and there I see one dated 1962 for sale (and in one case, from a reputable dealer so no chance it's a fake). Thanks (someone in the market for a...Rolex Explorer 1016!)

Because the 1016 was launched in 1960, as far as I know.
