Anyone have the 218206 platinum "blacked out" dial DDII

I have always thought this was an amazing piece but can't find it anymore on the Rokex website. Anyone have one and any thoughts on it?

I think it's killer, but there are a lot of other killer choices for the DDII

Looks like one serious watch. Hard to tell the time though.... I've found it hard to read when I have seen it in person. I can't see going for this over the ice blue....

It looks pretty cool, but as mentioned above, readability might be an issue. I'd opt for concentric ice blue dial

Ahhh, the black concentric arabic dial (charcoal) DD2 platinum. This was the "other" dial option when i was deciding which dial to go with. I ultimately went with the ice blue concentric roman because of the iconic platinum ice blue but also because of legibility. The black dial is hard to see in certain lighting. It was a very tough decision and took me over a year to make. i couldn't find an AD which stocked both dials for me to compare head to head. I thought I might be "done" after acquiring my DD2 but would it be too silly to go after this black concentric arabic version as well?

I think Tom in Taiwan has then black arabic dial and Patrick Belgium had it but swapped for the ice blue arabic.

Good luck! Be sure to post pictures!

+1. I saw this dial on a gold DD11, and it was hard to tell the time. The ice blue dial really stands out on the platinum.

Never seen this variation - very nice. One more incentive to get a PowerBall ticket this week.

I actually prefer the look of this to the blue, but as some have said might be hard to see.

I had the DDII in white gold with the black dial and now I have the Platinum....The only drawback is that I did not like the smooth bezel, but am getting use to it.......
