Do You Loose Your Sleep if Your Gold Rolex is Scratch/Dinged

Guys,

I know many would answer "NO" if we talk about SS or TT Rolex...But what if that happens to your Gold Rolex???

I really would like to know your reaction???

Regards,

Well, if you value your sleep, you will not care (or get over it very quickly). A watch will get scratched up no matter what it's made of. Steel to platinum... it will get scratched.

One question I was wondering about...if you scratch and ding a gold watch, do you polish it?

Since gold is precious, far more precious than mere stainless steal, polishing it basically means removing precious material from your watch. This would drive me nuts

Hi there !
20 years ago, I did care!, now after 50 I have learned, that cursing, swearing, crying, etc.. Will not make those dings go away .. So, now wiser I accept them as part of being alive, a tale to tell... What?, will someone believe all the BS I just wrote? Of course I care! Scratches are like bruises and dings are like curse marks !!!
If it happens it happens but I will be very upset for a while!, thats the reason I have a designated "clunker or daily wearer" for that purpose only, the rest will be used under the sleve...

Cheers !

Any watch can be fixed or replaced. You often cannot say that about your health.

If you are going to buy a gold watch and then stress about everything that might happen to it, better to leave it in the safe or in a display case where you can just admire it.

Is there a poll flaw? I clicked both the yes and no boxes by mistake and hit vote instead of un clicking the yes. And my votes went through.
