Half Link for a GMT BLNR?
I did a search before posting this. Basically read suggestions to get a half link for a sub and get the center polished and add it to the GMT.
Has Rolex started manufacturing GMTc half links? Does anyone know what the part number is? With my BLNR it's tight sometimes and sometimes not. I had 1 full link removed, but to put that back on would create to much slack in the bracelet. A half link would be better. Unless someone here can suggest another route to squeeze a few mill more into the bracelet. FYI, I have the bracelet out to it's max right now, so the easyclasp is already extended. |

Assuming you've already tried addng the full link and then backing the slack off with the micro adjustment holes on the clasp? If not give it a shot cause that would save you some expense and hassle.

You shouldn't have had to take any links out until you used up the 3 micro adjustment holes in the clasp. Those holes have more adjustment than the ez-link.

This thread is VERY interesting to me too as I have a 216570 which ,no doubt, has the same micro adjustment which I wasn't aware of. Thanks for posting.

Every modern oyster bracelet has three positions within the clasp that adjust approximately three millimeters each position. The easy-link is another 5mm adjustment. That should be more adjustment possibilities than anyone should ever need.

I guess Rolex thought this also, and I can tell you for me, they got it wrong. I really wish they had added one more notch to the micro adjust on the new bracelet.

On my new GMT IIc, I would love a 1/2 link on the 6 o'clock side to make it 4 1/2 links. I think this would be perfect for me. My new GMT tends to ride to the 12 o'clock side.
Now get me a glidelock like my SubC.... :-) Game on! |

Well, to answer your question, no, Rolex doesn't make 1/2 links for the GMTIIc.
But it sounds like if you put the link back in, closed the easy link, and used the smallest setting in the micro adjustment holes, you should be OK without it. Those adjustments should give you 10-11mm on the bracelet. Unless you've already tried that...if so, you will need the subc 1/2 link and polish the center. Good luck, |

I'm all set. I took it to RC and they simply moved the easy clasp to the last inner-recess. Now the bracelet fits well

I was struggling to find a PERFECT fit on my BLNR bracelet because I didnt realize that the easylink could be moved within those 3 positions. Because of the lack of outside holes on the clasp I assumed there was no micro-adjustments. I moved it one position and now it's PERFECT! Thanks!!

The AD should be able to take care of you. Another reason why I absolutely love the Sub's GlideLock clasp. It makes my Sub fit perfectly all the time.

Is this the positioning of the EZ-Link you're talking about? How are those adjusted? I see what looks to be a few dots inside the clasp area there.

The EasyLink is a separate 5mm extension that can be adjusted in or out to provide a half link's adjustment. The spring bar that attaches the EasyLink to the clasp has three separate micro-adjustments independent from the EasyLink. It is similar to the older style clasp with holes in the sides only the holes don't go all the way through the clasp on the new clasps.

I have the same issue. I wear my Sub's with 4 1/2 on the 6 side and they fit great.
The only 1/2 link you can get is for the 97200 bracelet and then have the center polished. The p/n is 21029-D1 . It makes no since why they don't make one. |

I also looked for one and could not find one, so source a 1/2 SubC half link and polished the center, that's what I did: (installed on 6 side)
Now the clasp sits more in the center Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nicely done. I bought a half link for my DBlue as well. Even though there's a ton of adjustment with the Glidelock, I couldn't get the clasp in a cantered comfortable position.
It's due in, in 4 weeks |

Same issue here on the same watch... its too tight with two links removed and too loose with only one... would like to keep it contractad (as oposed to expanded) for when summer comes back... a half link would fix this issue...
Would like a polished stock 1/2 PLC |
