Rolex Sky-Dweller Arabic Dial vs Roman Dial

Greetings. Looking to purchase an all gold Sky-Dweller for my father. I have been struggling between the Arabic Dial vs. the Roman Dial. I think I am leaning towards the Roman Dial in Yellow Gold at this point. That being said, the Rose Gold w/Chocolate Roman Dial is stunning as well. The Arabic Dial seems to be less common than the Roman. Is the Arabic Dial that rare? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why let your Father chose ?

After all, he will be the one who will be wearing it.

It's a nice present, so let him decide the final watch.

Take him to the shop, it will be a nice surprise.

Very generous gift!

I really like the rose gold version with that silver dial and roman numerals.

To me im not a big fan of the Roman numerals. Arabic numbers, sticks are markers always seem to add versatility to a dress watch. Makes the t-shirt and jeans thing ok, where as Roman numerals just look fancier aesthetically.

Fan of Roman here, but would be very happy with Arabic.

I prefer flat (matte) finish on the dial, instead of metallic finish ... this makes the dial more readable IMO, since the hour markers are metallic ... so I went with the WG version,

Wow...what a gift. You can't go wrong with any of them, but the RN's might be more suitable for your father.

Thanks for the reply @patek_man…So, every modern Rolex has the same amount of production? No modern Rolex is considered "rare"? For instance, a Yachtmaster II would not be considered more rare than a GMT Master II? I am relatively new to Rolex so I am asking so that I can have a better understanding. Thanks.

Great gift, no matter what you/he decide. I am currently trying to decide which Sky Dweller to get myself. I like the RG chocolate dial Sky Dweller on a strap, but I would like to have RN without going full gold.

This is the best option in my humble opinion. But what ever floats your boat is the way to go.

Cheers

The Sky Dweller is amazing watch. For me the choice was based on metal and dial colors. Just happened that the combos I liked were both arabic.
