I had some clothes like that. I remember a red, white, and blue suit that my parents bought me to wear to a wedding in 1974 when I was 7.

The next time you think you look cool in your nice threads, remember what those people look like now.

Forty years from now, some folks will be browsing a blog with fashions from 2015 and spitting out their morning cup of java.

I remember as a child, looking at pictures of my grandparents from the 30s and 40s and asking why people dressed like they did.

Looking back, I know that they were dressed to the nines and as funny as they looked to me in the 50s, nothing they wore looked nearly as stupid as what people have been wearing for the last 45 years.

Even trashy people before WWII had more class than most people today.

Well, present company excepted.
