Second Hand Rolex Question

Some watches I've looked at have service details and some don't.

If I buy a second-hand Rolex (looking at 2001 GMT) and am unsure about its service history, will a RSC provide me details of the watches service history eg most recent service date if I show them the watch and its serial number?

No, in my experience they won't usually tell you anything. That's Hong Kong though...your local RSC may be more forthcoming. And if it was originally sold in another country they won't have records anyway.

Doubt they will and unless the watch is owned by a real watch fan I would doubt it has been serviced.

Unless it's worn everyday it should be fine without servicing. Depends whether u trust the seller. Or you can simply factor in service cost in your budget.
