No more 15450? 37mm? (new AP fan)
Hello all,
Basically a new AP fan, and looking around to see which one I will drop the bomb on when the time comes. Now I have been to the AD in my city, and the smallest sized AP they had was the 41MM 15400. Though a beautiful watch, it wears massive on my 6" wrists. I have very slim wrists, and not massive forearms either, and can't stand the look of very big watches. Do AP no longer make smaller versions like the 15450? Looking for some input. Bare in mind that I can't stand the look of the big 15400 on my wrists; Though i know many do wear them and love them, it's just a personal preference for me I guess. Thanks guys! |

There is still 15450. A white dial version on ss bracelet or rose gold version on leather.
Womder if they will release a black or blue dial version in this year's basel |

Why not look for a preowned 15300? I have to say the 15400 wears fine on my small wrist. Best

Size
The ROs wear larger than their diameters suggest. A 41mm 15400 may be comparable to a 43mm case size of another manufacturer. The trend is still towards large cases but recently there seem some trends towards additionally offering smaller case watches (e.g. ALS Saxonia 35mm and others) and who knows maybe AP will introduce further smaller size models in the near future (?).
I had the 15450 and it fit very nice. You might wanna try that as well. Other than that, how about the 39 mm versions, e.g. 15202 or the chronograph models? |

I think u minimally need a 6.5" wrist to pull off the 15400. Which is why i bought a 15450 instead. A pity theres no blue dial. Din't really like the black dial as it lacked the shimmering effect of the silver dial so not much loss there for me. If a blue dial is released, i wil prob be flipping my silver dial :D

a 39mm or an original 36mm would be perfect for you, the later are certainly more affordable.
