I'm considering buying a watch listed on chrono 24 from this dealer:

ELEFTHERIOU
DAMASKINOU STR 1
20100 KORINTH
Greece

Does anyone have any experience positive or negative that I should know?
Keep in mind that I definitely know of the great sellers on Rolex forum and if I could get what I want here in the states I would but........

Its in Greece. Chrono24 is open to occasional abuse.

Unless you have a cast iron guarantee, swerve.

I know you're right. catch 22 I suppose. That's why I'd like to at least speak with someone who has done business with that company.

Never heard of it. Not hard to get an account that's 'trusted' according to chrono. I got my sub no date off chrono

I would not purchase a watch from a seller in a foreign country. If the deal goes wrong, you could be S.O.L. with no recourse. This is a big country ... I'm sure you will be able to get what you want if you keep looking.

Generally good advice IMO. Not to say there are not reputable foreign sellers, but why take the out of country risk and complications.

Are you aware if the issues of shipping a Rolex to the states?

Look for trusted sellers and try to buy locally from a seller in your country if you can.
