15202 VS 15300. Same size/fitting?

Hey guys.
So basically I have gotten the chance to try on the 15202.
Although the watch wears much larger than your usual 39MM watch, I don't have a problem with the dial, however the bracelet being stiff does not sit on my wrists properly. It is very loose and removing links would not help change that.
I am very picky with the way a watch rests on my wrists, and always prefer it to barely move, so the big bracelet on the 15202 was a deal breaker for me, which was really a bummer.

Is the 15300 the same? I haven't had a chance to try one on, but am curious if I would have the same problem?

I have 6" wrists in case you guys are wondering.
I guess the shape of the wrists also comes into factor here.

Thanks in advance!!

It's the same. The 15300 case is only just thicker. For a 6" wrist, I suggest you try the 37mm 15450.

Interesting. I have a small wrist and the 15202 is probably the most comfortable bracelet watch I've had.

Maybe a gold 15300 on leather?

How small?
You're probably at 6.5" wrists I would assume for that to rest on your wrists.
I don't like gold, and problem is that I really really love the AP bracelet.

Any pics to share?

There's enough of a difference between a 15300 and a 15202 to warrant hunting one out for a try, you might get lucky. Realistically you are talking millimetres between something that will fit perfectly and something that won't so worth a shot. Don't forget AP do a 1.5 link too, which might help.

Thanks for the response.
What do you mean by a 1.5 link exactly.
Can you elaborate?
Will this at all help the stiffness on the bracelet and let the watch sit on the wrists more closely?

The 1.5 link is an extra link you can get from AP and it is 50% larger than the standard ones. It helps to fit the bracelet if you are beetwen sizes.

Some watchmakers do a .5 link, AP does a 1.5 link. It definitely helps with fit, but does not change how the watch sits. My guess is the case hangs off your wrist, which prevents it from hugging it properly. I'd go for an Aquanaut as or 37mm AP.

At 6inch your best bet is the 37mm. Cheaper too.

Interesting,
I was at the AP AD in vegas the last weekend. I too have a 6" wrist and wanted to see the fit of some of my favourite AP's

I know exactly what you mean about the 39mm being too stiff and 'floating' off the side of the wrists.

Interestingly enough the dealer mad me try on a 39mm Dual Time that didn't have the same problem. The thicker case made the bracelet fall and taper better so you may consider that.

It made me sad to think that the watches i adore won't fit me, but I'm dying to see a 39mm ROC to see if that fits the same as the Dual Time.

Cheers
