Sea Dweller 4000 on Rubber B

I got my new SD4K the other day and I noticed people had them on a Rubber B band. I am a fan of rubber bands so I purchased a Rubber B black tang band yesterday. It arrived today and here is how it looks.

Can totally understand the need for the rubber strap. Nice selection.

Only issue I am finding is it is either too big or too small. Can't seem to get the right fit. Holes seem to be too far apart. I see the Isofrane may fit better someone just said. Anyone have any info on them and where to purchase?

Sorry the fit isn't perfect for you, because that RubberB looks great on your SD!

That's exactly why the bracelet is so good.

Even though the Rubber B that uses Rolex' deployment buclke isn't as convenient (takes some time to change the bracelet), I think it offers a better fit than the version with the buckle. Regardless, your SD4000 looks amazing, congratulations!

Looks fantastic. Too bad about the fit ---- it's true, the holes do look too widely spaced.

Check out this video, which might help (not sure if it will with RubberB): http://www.vintagerstraps.com/zhomehtml/movi.html

Not that it helps with RubberB, but, when ordering leather straps for my Panerai from my favorite strap maker, I have more holes put more closely together (oval style instead of circular) and it makes a world of difference.

The Isofrane website takes you to Aquadive where you can order.

Same path as me - got a Rubber B. Wasn't comfortable. Got an Isofrane. Blissfully comfortable and cooler looking as well. IMHO Rubber Bs look a bit Hublot, whereas Isofranes look pure Jacques Cousteau. Enjoy!

iso is so comfy, but there seems to be a lot of space b/w the case and lug holes. maybe consider a custom endlink?

I like it, and it's always great to have options...
A pity about the fitment issue using the RubberB though. Hope you can sort it out.

Fitment of the Rubber B is one of my main apprehensions with the strap. I wish there was a way for me to try it on before buying it.

+1

It's a good look on rubber and make sense when travelling or camping or something. I really like the SD4K on Rubber compared to the SubC, due to the more tapered lugs.

Love it, I prefer the look of the rubberb out of the ones shown, although I would get a clasp for it.
