Panerai 510 & P.5000
Good morning all. I know that this movement is not COSC certified. What is the acceptable time keeping tolerance? I have read it was -/+ 10 seconds? However, the thread didn't provide which movement it was referring to. Thank you all in advance.

One should expect COSC-like numbers. The actual "certification" is just marketing....

My warranty booklet came stamped with 3.4 sec (no - or +, so this number is dubious).
Mine is running -9 to -11 sec slow per day. Certainly not COSC, but not too bad for Panerai. I heard getting it adjusted will help, but I am waiting until service time to save myself the heartache of scratches from the service center. ![]() |
